The Yoga By Danit Method™ was formed organically as a result of Danit’s many years of practicing, studying, teaching yoga, meditation, and anatomy combined with her experience as a dancer. Danit’s method is inspired by the ancient Sanskrit word “yuj” from which the word “yoga” is derived. The meaning of yuj is “to yoke” or “to join,” in other words to create a union. Beyond the basic unification of proper breathing with movement, the Yoga By Danit Method™ is about achieving the greatest opening of body and mind through balance. Key principles of the Yoga By Danit Method™ include effort and surrender, maintaining a Yin mindset even during an intense Yang practice and finding the origin of each movement.
